Read this Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 review for more information on this 5 1/2 cup rice cooker.

If you are considering buying a Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 then you are obviously looking for a top quality rice cooker. You are probably already aware that this machine is aimed at families and can make enough rice for up to ten people, if you fill it with 5 1/2 cups of uncooked white rice. There are numerous reasons why this machine may be the best one for you so I want to present some of them in this rice cooker review.

Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 Design

As you can see from the picture above, this machine has a hard white plastic body. It is very easy to clean should it get dirty on the outside and is a stylish addition to any kitchen. It is the only Zojirushi rice cooker that has a cooking bowl with stay cool handles. This gives you the option of easily removing the cooking pot from the machine once your rice has finished cooking. So if you want to take it over to the table and serve up from there you can do.

Included in the Package

When you buy a Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 you get everything that you can see in the picture above. It comes with two measuring cups, one for white and brown rice and the other for rinse free rice. It also includes a rice spatula and a spatula holder that can be attached to either the left or right side of the machine.

What types of rice can you cook in a NS-ZCC10?

Before you purchase a rice cooker you presumably want to know exactly what types of food you can use it to cook. This model has one of the largest range of settings of any of Zojirushi's devices sold in the United States and Canada. With this machine you can make the following types of rice: white (hard, regular, soft), sushi, sweet, semi-brown, brown, rinse free and porridge. It also has a setting for quick cook rice if you are in a hurry.

These are just some of the reasons why you may decide to buy a Zojirushi NS-ZCC10 rice cooker. It also features an advanced Micom chip with a technology Zojirushi call Neuro Fuzzy. This is supposed to guarantee great tasting rice every time you use this machine. The cooking bowl in this device has a spherical bottom. In my own experience with rice cookers, this facilitates more even cooking of the rice. This is probably one of the best family sized rice cookers you can get your hands on for under $200. When you compare this machine to more expensive models like the NP-HBC10, the only major difference with regards to components are that the NS-ZCC10 does not have an Induction Heating system.

If you can afford to purchase an Induction Heating system rice cooker then this is possibly the best option you could choose. But if that is just a little bit too much money, then you get a very high quality rice cooker in the Zojirushi NS-ZCC10.
